The rules for making payments to foreign vendors under 1441 are complicated and broad and continue to evolve. Learn the basics of identifying foreign payees, and determining the character and source of income paid so that you will be primed for compliance with these commonly-audited regulations.

Kelli is a past member of the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (“IRPAC”) where she chaired the International Reporting and Withholding (“IRW”) subgroup as well as a previous Vice Chair of the IRS Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (“ETAAC”). Kelli received her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati and her B.S. Business Administration – Accounting from The University of Tennessee.
